Looking forward to another great season. We got off to a good start with a very informative and productive general meeting held on January 29th. Pat Mitchell will be our fundraising coordinator. If anyone has any ideas or would like to help him in this endeavor, he can be reached at 951.707.7127. We are looking forward to him being very successful with this responsibility. We are also planning a potluck for all members/ future members so that everyone can mingle and get to know each other. More details to follow. Membership forms are being revised and will be ready shortly. Dues remains at $75. I will email forms to the email addresses I have and will have some available at practices.
Raffle Tickets~
For the 2012 PCJBR season, everyone will be responsible to $100 worth of raffle tickets. Once we decide on our raffle item, and get the tickets, we will provide them to everyone.
Sponsors~
Since sponsors are a huge part of our success, everyone's help in aquiring sponsors is needed and appreciated. If you would like a sponsor form, please let me know.
RIDE FOR A CURE..........
ATTENTION:
Mutton Busters and Steer Riders
(or any calf riders wanting to compete on steer)
The event planners for 'Ride for a Cure' have invited us to be a part of their event. We are very excited to have our mutton busters and steer riders represent the PCJBR at this fundraiser. This will be a two round competition on October 6, 2012 with the entry fee being $20. A belt buckle will be awarded to the champion of each division. Round one will be between 12:00 - 2:00 and round two will be between 3:00 and 5:00. The event organizers are huge supporters of our sport so it should be a lot of fun. If you are interested in participating, please contact Daryl 951.963.5242 or Robin 951.757.2184.
